Welcome to the Adaptive Technologies' service pages. Adaptive Technologies is primarily involved in the design, implementation, and support of technology plans within two market segments – assistive technologies for clients with disabilities and speech recognition IT systems for medical practices.
We require a technology evaluation before proceeding with any assistive technology training, K-12 student training, or large assistive technology installation. As is standard industry practice, we also require an evaluation before proceeding with any medical IT implementation plan.

Assistive Technology Evaluations

Assistive Technology Training
Adaptive Technologies offers assistive technology training within most disability segments except in cases involving severe developmental disabilities (autism, down syndrome, etc.), speech-language pathology, or visual impairments. All on-site technology trainings include case-specific curriculums, lessons from experienced, certified teachers, and course reference materials.

Medical IT Evaluations
We require a medical IT evaluation before beginning any medical speech recognition implementation plan or larger IT installation/training. Each medical IT evaluation includes a thorough assessment of relevant electronic systems, paper charts/forms, and existing workflow processes so that medical professionals realize top productivity gains with minimal inconvenience.

Medical IT Services
Adaptive Technologies has provided IT development, support, and training services to physicians, psychologists, and medical assistants for over 10 years. Areas of specialty include speech recognition software training, design and implementation of custom MS Office form systems, computer technology training/support, and custom computer workstation construction.
